1. Introduction and Scope
iSQI Inc. is committed to ensuring that isqi.org is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This Accessibility Statement applies to the website isqi.org (the “Website”) in its entirety, including all pages, products, checkout and payment processes.
iSQI Inc. also serves customers outside the United States. This statement therefore addresses obligations arising from:
- the European Accessibility Act (EAA) – Directive (EU) 2019/882 – and its national implementations, including the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG), which has applied since June 28, 2025 to certain private-sector services offered to consumers;
- Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which requires publicly accessible services, including websites, to be accessible to people with disabilities;
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. § 794d), applicable to electronic and information technology procured or developed by U.S. federal agencies or their contractors;
- general international best practices as codified in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
2. Applicable Accessibility Standard
This Website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Version 2.2, Level AA. WCAG 2.2 defines requirements across four principles:
- Perceivable – Information and user interface components must be presented in ways users can perceive.
- Operable – User interface components and navigation must be operable.
- Understandable – Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
- Robust – Content must be robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents and assistive technologies.
WCAG 2.2 AA is the standard recognised in connection with the EU European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549 and is also referenced in U.S. Department of Justice guidance on website accessibility under the ADA.
3. Compliance Status
This Website is PARTIALLY COMPLIANT with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means that some areas of the Website do not yet fully conform to the standard. The identified non-conformances are listed in detail in Section 4.
A technical accessibility audit was conducted on March 3, 2026, covering the following representative page types:
- Homepage (https://isqi.org)
- Category / Listing Page (https://isqi.org/Software-Testing-Quality/)
- Product / Certification Detail Page (https://isqi.org/ISTQB-Certified-Tester-Foundation-Level-4.0-CTFL/CT-FL-4)
The audit employed a hybrid methodology including automated scanning via Lighthouse 13.0.1, manual keyboard-navigation testing, screen-reader simulations (NVDA, VoiceOver), heuristic evaluation, and CSS and contrast validation. The audit was conducted against WCAG 2.2 Conformance Levels A and AA.
Scores achieved in automated testing (Lighthouse):
Page Type | Lighthouse Score | Status |
|---|---|---|
Homepage (https://isqi.org) | 64 / 100 | Remediation Required |
Category Page (.../Software-Testing-Quality/) | 58 / 100 | Critical |
Product Page (.../CT-FL-4) | 61 / 100 | Remediation Required |
4. Non-Accessible Content
The following sections describe content that does not currently conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, together with the planned remediation timelines. iSQI Inc. is actively working to address all identified issues.
4.1 Non-Conformances (Technical Failures)
The table below lists all WCAG 2.2 criteria identified as failing across the audited pages. Criterion IDs, affected page types, and planned remediation dates are provided.
WCAG Criterion | Level | Affected Pages | Description of Failure | Remediation Target |

4.2 Disproportionate Burden
iSQI Inc. does not currently invoke the disproportionate burden exemption for any part of the Website. All identified non-conformances are planned for remediation within the timelines stated in Section 4.1.
4.3 Content Not Within Scope
The following categories of content are acknowledged but are subject to specific considerations:
- Third-party content: Certain embedded elements (e.g. payment-processing widgets or third-party examination platforms integrated into the booking process) are provided by external vendors. iSQI Inc. will work with these vendors to promote compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA. Where third-party content cannot be made accessible, iSQI Inc. will, where possible, provide an equivalent alternative access method. This also applies to security and anti-spam mechanisms, including CAPTCHA solutions where used. Users who cannot complete such a security check may request an alternative contact or access method at info@isqi.org.
- Pre-recorded media: No audio-only or video-only content was identified on the tested pages at the time of the audit. If such content is added in the future, captions, text transcripts, audio descriptions or equivalent text alternatives will be provided where required by the nature and content of the media.
- Downloadable and archived documents: Newly published and actively used PDF documents should be provided with an appropriate tag structure, a logical reading order, meaningful alternative text and searchable text. PDF documents published before June 28, 2025 that are not actively used may be subject to a proportionality assessment. Accessible versions will be provided on request.

Other States Outside the European Union
iSQI Inc. also offers its digital services to users outside the European Union and the United States. Where additional national accessibility or equal-treatment requirements apply in an individual case, iSQI Inc. will take them into account. Users experiencing accessibility problems may contact iSQI Inc. at info@isqi.org. Where reasonable and technically feasible, an equivalent alternative means of accessing the relevant information or service will be provided.
Before escalating a matter to an enforcement authority, we encourage you to contact us directly (see Section 5) to allow us the opportunity to resolve your concern.
7. ADA Compliance Statement (United States)
iSQI Inc. is committed to making isqi.org accessible in accordance with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), 42 U.S.C. § 12181 et seq., and applicable guidance from the U.S. Department of Justice.
We are actively working to bring the Website into conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. WCAG is used by the U.S. Department of Justice as a recognised technical benchmark for web-content accessibility. The binding rule on web and mobile-app accessibility issued by the Department of Justice in 2024 applies to state and local government entities under Title II of the ADA; private businesses subject to Title III remain subject to the general statutory duties and guidance concerning non-discriminatory access.
If you have difficulty accessing any content or functionality on isqi.org, please contact our Accessibility Team (see Section 5). iSQI Inc. will:
- respond to your inquiry within five business days;
- provide the requested information in an accessible alternative format where technically feasible;
