### The syllabus and exam on the GTB® CTFL - Test Data Specialist (TDS) are currently only available in German language!
Test Data Management is the set of all methodological, conceptual, organizational and technical measures and procedures for handling the resource test data. The aim is to incorporate the test data into the test processes with its maximum usage potential, taking into account data protection requirements, and to ensure the efficient use of the test data.
ISTQB® Certified Testers who have passed the GTB certification "Test Data Specialist" (CTFL-TDS) should be able to accomplish the following Business Objectives:
- Demonstrate convincingly the goals associated with test data management, challenges, costs, benefits and project risks.
- Formulate the requirements for test data and apply procedures for the selection or creation of test data.
- Advise and support the project regarding TDM including relevant regulatory requirements.
- Create test data concepts and other TDM result artifacts.
- Know, plan and schedule the roles to be filled in the TDM process.
- Contribute to integrating the TDM process into the organization, its processes and IT.
- Propose test data tools that are appropriate for the context.
