ISTQB® is the leading global certification scheme in software testing. Polteq is accredited by ISTQB® as a training provider. The ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Analyst is aimed at people who have extensive experience in the field of testing. Polteq offers three different courses aimed at earning one of the three ISTQB® Advanced certifications:

• ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Manager (CTAL-TM) (3 days)
• ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Analyst (CTAL-TA) (3 days)
• ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst (CTAL-TTA) (3 days)

Passing all these certifications leads to the Full Advanced Level Testing Professional certificate.

This three-day course prepares participants for the ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Analyst. Upon completion of the training the participant will be able to design and execute functional (black box) tests, aligned with the development approach used and related to the outcomes of risk analyses. The focus of the training is on functionality, usability and user-friendliness.

Prior Knowledge

ISTQB® Foundation certification.

Exam

Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a voucher that allows them to take an online or physical exam of their choice. For groups of at least five participants, a classroom exam can also be held.

Prerequisite for certification is that the participant has the ISTQB® Foundation certificate. If the participant does not already hold that certificate, the exam can still be taken, but the participant will not yet receive the “ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Analyst” certificate.
