What exams are available from iSQI?
The iSQI “Certified” program is always growing and evolving to meet market needs – you will be able to see our certifications on our website. If you are interested in certification exams not listed on our website check with us to see if we can offer the exam for you.
Is my certificate issued by iSQI recognised globally?
Yes, iSQI certificates are recognised around the world. iSQI is a leading global certification body (we are certified according to the ISO 17024 standard). iSQI is the chosen partner to multiple qualifications boards including ISTQB®, IREB®, UXQB®, ISPMA®, DASA and LSSA.
What is the cost of an exam?
To see the cost of an exam select the certification that you are interested in on our website. Decide whether you would like to take the exam via Pearson Vue testcenter, as a public exam (if available in your region) or as an iSQI FLEX exam (not applicable for all certification exams) and you will see the price in the currency that iSQI accepts for your location.
Can I take an exam without attending a training course?
Some certification exams can be taken without a training course, as an example, you could self-study using the syllabus, sample exams and recommended reading. For other certification exams training is mandated.
If training is not mandated you could take the exam at a Pearson Vue test centre, at a public exam session (where available) or as an iSQI® FLEX exam.
We strongly recommend that all exam candidates undertake a training course with an accredited training provider (some certification schemes refer to recognised or registered training providers).
If I did not turn up for the exam, am I entitled to a refund?
No, if you do not turn up for the exam we cannot offer a refund unfortunately. Contact us to re-arrange.
When do I get my certificate?
Candidates who successfully pass an exam (or the entire relevant exam modules required to be certified) will receive an electronic certificate with the result email from iSQI within 3 to 10 working days after the exam, depending on the type of exam.
If you would like a paper version of your certificate, we will charge a fee per copy. Contact us for information.
How do I find a training provider?
You can find a training provider on our website.
iSQI only offer exams to accredited training providers. The benefit of an accredited training provider is that their training materials are compliant with the syllabus for the certification; this is important if you are preparing for an exam. Some certification schemes refer to recognised or registered training providers. You are able to book guaranteed trainings under the section "Book Training & Exam" or find futher trainings via partner sites.
Does iSQI also offer instructor-led training courses?
No, iSQI does not offer training courses and is not a training course provider. iSQI is a vendor neutral certification body fully certified against ISO/IEC 17024:2012 (The general requirements for bodies operating certification of persons). iSQI provides globally recognised exams that verify an IT professional’s skills and knowledge. By remaining independent from the training providers, individuals and employers can be confident in the integrity and validity of the certification by iSQI. iSQI offers exam delivery services to over 150 training providers who deliver training courses that prepare students for our certification examinations.

Can I book an exam for my team on-site at our office location?
We understand that organisations sometimes want to offer their employees the opportunity to take an exam e.g. after self-study. Contact us to discuss how we can support you and your team. You could also consider Pearson Vue vouchers.
Can I use a dictionary/glossary during my exam?
You are allowed a dictionary (paper only) if your exam is not in your first language. The invigilator will check the dictionary – there must be no notes or additional pieces of paper.
This applies to Pearson Vue exams, public exams and exams taken after a training course.
