iSAQB® Software Architecture - Advanced Level (CPSA-A)
As a software architect, you are responsible for the components and the interaction within a system. With the internationally recognised iSAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture - Advanced Level certification, you demonstrate that you have not only technical, but also methodological and communicative competence in the field of software architecture. The certification is aimed at software architects with advanced knowledge.
How do I obtain this iSAQB® certification?
In order to obtain the certification, you must successfully pass an exam. You can acquire the knowledge relevant for the exam in the form of a training course at a recognised iSAQB® training provider.
During the iSAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture - Advanced Level training, the relevant contents and topics are clearly explained and conveyed to the participants. The training curriculum consists of individual modules, each of which is dedicated to a specific focus of the competence of software architecture professionals: Methodological competence:
- Systematic approach to architectural tasks, independent of technologies,
- Technical competence: Knowledge and application of technologies to solve design tasks,
- Communicative competence: Ability to work productively with different stakeholders, communication, presentation, argumentation, moderation.
What are the entry requirements?
In order to take the iSAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture - Advanced Level exam, you need the iSAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture - Foundation Level certification. In addition, at least three years of professional experience in the IT industry, including participation in the design and development of at least two different IT systems, is required as well as participation in a licensed training course (or comparable recognised training courses or certificates) totalling at least 70 credit points from all three different competence areas with at least 10 credit points in each competence area.

What other certifications can you recommend?
There is currently no certification that follows the iSAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture - Advanced Level certification. An Expert Level is currently being planned.
