IREB CPRE Advanced, Requirements Elicitation PRACTITIONER (CPRE-AL-P-E)
Requirements engineers analyse, document and manage the requirements of all those participating in a project. They therefore establish a connection between the requirements of the customer, developer, tester and user. When preparing to take the IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering, Advanced Level Requirements Elicitation - Practitioner - certification, you will learn techniques for identifying requirements and how to recognise and solve potential conflicts.
How do I obtain the IREB certification?
To be certified you must pass the IREB Advanced Level, Requirements Elicitation - Practitioner - exam. The Practitioner exam is a multiple choice test of approx. 45 questions and must be completed within 75 minutes. On request, non-native speakers may be granted a 15 minute time extension.
You can prepare for the exams by attending a training course with a recognised IREB training provider for the module CPRE Advanced Level, Requirements Elicitation; as a training participant you will have relevant content and topics clearly explained and taught by the trainer. You will apply your acquired knowledge to case studies and deepen it through practical exercises.

What are the entry requirements?
The prerequisite to take the IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering, Advanced Level Requirements, Elicitation - Practitioner - exam, is the possession of the certification IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering, Foundation Level or the certification Requirements Engineering from the British Computer Society (BCS).
To pass the exam, you will need to know and master the educational objectives as defined in the syllabus of the respective Advanced Level module. Attending a training course is not mandatory for admission to the examination, but is recommended.
